Summary[]
Tony Newman and Doug Phillips find themselves on the Cherbourg Peninsula in June, 1944, right before D-Day during World War II. After witnessing a shootout/bombing from a gang of resisters, Newman and Phillips are immediately captured by the Gestapo.
Phillips is chosen for an experiment by Dr. Hans Kleinemann, while Newman escapes. However, Newman is immediately caught by members of the French Resistance and held captive until he gains their tentative trust.
The team at Project Tic-Toc, meanwhile, has had their hands full due to trying to obtain correct information as to where the Gestapo building is, as well as trying to figure out who had captured Newman and where he is being held in case they have to move him along with Phillips out of the area in case of emergency. Complicating matters further is that Kleinemann “reprograms” Phillips with a new, Nazi identity, instructing him that Newman is now his enemy and he must kill him.
