Little Joe was never seen, but his voice was heard several times throughout the episode Curse of Cousin Smith. Jeremiah calls Little Joe up twice and Little Joe's voice is heard when the Gambling Machine talks.

Before Curse of Cousin Smith, Little Joe met Jeremiah Smith. When they met, Jeremiah was going to pay Little Joe for something but didn't, and still hadn't up to this episode.
